On July 1st and 2nd, the M49 Monitoring visit took place in Reggio Emilia (Italy). The event was divided into two different moments: on the first day, the Consortium showed the installation of the new HEROTILES and the monitoring activities on 2 social housing buildings located in Reggio Emilia to the Project monitor Lorenzo Mengali and Project Officer Boyana Vasileva of the European Commission. The aim of this demonstration was to show the efficacy in terms of attic’s temperature reduction. These demo buildings represent an appropriate context to support the creation of best practices for the transformation of flat roofs into ecological lightweight attics, leading to a reduction in roof temperature and the use of summer air conditioners.
On July 2nd, 2024, the meeting aim was to show the activities performed in the last 6 months of the project, underlying the KPIs reached and the last activities to be carry out since the end of the project.
